SEGA Releases A New Sonic Forces Music Track


SEGA dropped a brand new music track featured in Sonic Forces, the upcoming Sonic game that lets players experience fast paced action as Modern Sonic, catapult past perilous platforms as Classic Sonic, and use powerful new gadgets as your own Custom Hero Character. The energetic, upbeat music is the background music for the Park Avenue Stage featuring the Custom Hero Character.

Sega is planning to release an HD remaster of the first two Shenmue games


Currently the only way to play Shenmue 1 and 2 are on Dreamcast and the original Xbox.


Shenmue 2 was released in North America in 2002. Since E3 2015, plenty of gamers have become intrigued by the series, but playing the original games has been difficult because of limited availability. The HD Remaster would greatly serve the upcoming Shenmue 3 by helping gamers catch up on the story.

SEGA Genesis or SEGA Megadrive goes back into production as it sells 150,000 consoles a day in Brazil

Who would have thought the SEGA Mega Drive or SEGA Genesis is selling as many consoles as the PS4 in Brazil and now it's going back into production.


Retro games are becoming more popular in Brazil with 150,000 Mega Drives sold a day, according to reports. Launched in 1989 the console became an instant hit. Now TechToy have announced they will start to produce the retro star again and it will be compatible with all your oly Mega drive and genesis games.

Daytona 3 Championship USA as SEGA return to the arcade


SEGA announce a new coin-op game Daytona 3 Championship USA as the company get back into gaming hardware.


However SEGA never really stopped making arcade machines they just slowed down (a lot).

Daytona 3 Championship USA will be an updated remake of the original Daytona International Speedway game from 1993 (I loved it). I can remember how sore my thumbs were after playing the game for hours. In those days I had to hired it from Blockbusters!

Where to find download and play all SEGA Mega Drive Classics on PC


SEGA is celebrating the launch of the all new SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub on Steam with a 66% off sale on all SEGA Mega Drive currently available on the platform.


Anyone who purchases or already owns at least one SEGA Mega Drive title on Steam will be able to experience the wonder of the redesigned SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub when it launches on the 28th April, 2016.

Duke Nukem 3D Maga Drive (Genesis) Game Re released worldwide


Duke Nukem 3D, a personal computer classic title released in early 1996, featured pseudo 3D effects, a gritty foul mouth protagonist facing off against college humour styled enemies and levels.


Tectoy released a Sega Mega Drive (Sega Genesis in North America) version of Duke Nukem 3D that was only available in Brazil in 1998. Nearly 20 years later, Piko Interactive has secured the rights to Duke Nukem 3D on the Sega Genesis for world wide release.

Shenmue and Shenmue II Dreamcast classics to get re release say SEGA

SEGA's Head of Marketing John Rooke has hinted that classic Dreamcast games Shenmue and Shenmue II could be re-released due to the popularity of the Shenmue III Kickstarter campaign.

The Shenmue III Kickstarter campaign by Yu Suzuki had a target of $2 million and went on to raise $6 million! the game will be published in PS4 and PC formats.

Seriously though, that Casino Night Zone music is some of the best from the 16-bit era, not to mention Super Sonic, the new special stages, and everything else that elevated Sonic the Hedgehog from "series" to "legend."

Creative Assembly with two development awards


SEGA Europe are proud to congratulate their studio, Creative Assembly, for picking up two awards at last night’s Develop Awards 2015 in Brighton.


Alien: Isolation was given the award for Use of a License or IP and Audio Accomplishment. Over 130 companies from across Europe were nominated, and among them were SEGA’s very own UK-based studios, Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive and Hardlight; all were nominated for the In-House studio award.
