Data Design Interactive Signs distribution deal with Midway Games...


Data Design Interactive Ltd announce it has signed a deal with Midway Games Inc who will distribute DDI‘s Nintendo Wii game entitled ‘Schweineparty’ in German, Austria and Switzerland. (English version is entitled ‘Farmyard Party’)

Schweineparty brings farmyard fun to the Nintendo Wii. The game has eight sporting events which are divided into four categories: all-round, speed, power, and skill. Game modes include party modes themed around event styles, single event fun and some hilarious bonus games.

The game play revolves around using a combination of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in various ways to complete each event. The events require a combination of speed, timing and more than a little sweat!

The new content for Season 4 will include an all-new Self Design Feature where players can totally custom create a character's outfit from head to toe. Players will be able to choose from different pieces of clothing to make up an outfit and then can decorate the clothing with their own artistic flair. In addition, players will also be treated to an all-new character, a pop-star known as Lucia, who is already a hugely popular character in the Asian version of the game where Season 4 is now live.

Ntreev has also added a new security feature that includes an in-game safe for players to keep all their purchased items. By putting their items in the new safe, players will not have to worry about hacking or loss of their valuable items. Additionally, players can create custom items and give them as gifts to other players, and the gift will be embossed with the player's name when it is delivered.

Disney win Best Racing Game award at E3 for Split/Second

Split/Second, the action racing game from Disney Interactive Studios and Black Rock Studio, was selected as Best Racing Game in the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2009. The award gives Black Rock Studio back-to-back victories in the category and marks the first time a development studio repeated in the racing category with different original properties.
