Layers of Fear VR Victorian Horror Hit Spreads to Sony’s Virtual Reality on April 29th, 2021

Psychological horror hit, Layers of Fear VR, is coming to PlayStation VR on April 29th, 2021. This is a continuation of the company’s strategy to bring its quality horror games to popular Virtual Reality platforms.

Based on the critically acclaimed 2016 title, Layers of Fear VR immerses players into the depths of madness as they take control of a painter aiming to finish his Magnum Opus. Sony announced Wednesday that it is working with a variety of independent studios to make their games available for free to those with a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The new drop starts on March 25 and consists of eight indie games, four of which are for PlayStation VR. The titles include:

IONIA, the first title in the Rhythm of the Universe adventure series about preserving the environment with the power of music theory from ROTU Entertainment, will create a magnificent symphony as a native Oculus Quest app and for PSVR alongside previously announced PC VR headsets in Q2 2021. Two percent of proceeds from the Cannes XR Development Showcase 2020 award-winner and Raindance film festival nominee will benefit environmental non-profit Wildlife Warriors.

Paper Beast a Vibrant Virtual World on PSVR

Eric Chahi (Another World, From Dust) today reveals his new playful exploration game for the “PlayStation VR”: Paper Beast. Developed by his new independent studio Pixel Reef, Paper Beast sees players set foot in an unexplored, artificial world where delicate bonds are formed with emotionally stirring creatures. Blind VR - Investigate a strange mansion and its mysteries using echolocation
