Lootbane is a roguelite RPG about risk, reward, and loot-fueled power. Explore changing regions, build synergistic warbands, push deeper into dungeons for legendary treasure, and lose it all to your insatiable greed
The demo features the Warrior - one of four playable classes - along with the first two regions (Forest Lands and Desert Lands), a vast array of loot, and a city hub where players can sell items, store gear in their stash, and deposit gold in the bank before venturing onward. You’ll also encounter unique followers, stat-boosting powers, region-specific enemies, and challenging bosses.

Choose a hero, recruit followers whose abilities stack to create powerful synergies, and transform a ragtag band of vagabonds into a fully optimized warband fueled by loot.
Risk-Reward Dungeon Runs
Each level deeper into the dungeon multiplies your gold gains and chances for legendary loot - but enemies scale sharply, and death wipes out everything you’ve earned.
Playtest-Driven Improvements
Shaped by feedback from the large first public Steam playtest, the demo includes new content, refined pacing, balance adjustments, and clearer UI for key systems. Every choice is easier to read - and harder to take lightly.
