Indi studio Howling Hamster Entertainment today announced Sub-Species, a 2.5D multidirectional shooter set deep beneath Earth’s oceans after a devastating alien outbreak. The announcement is accompanied by a new trailer, offering players their first look at the game’s mysterious deep-sea world inspired by retro arcade classics and deep-sea sci-fi. In Sub-Species, you take control of a heavily armed submarine capable of rotating 360° to face threats from every direction. Each mission sends you deeper into contaminated zones filled with hostile creatures, collapsed structures and unknown technology left behind.
