Sony: we don't know when we can restart PSN

The weeks pass by and thinks seem to go from bad to worse for Sony and their network for PS£ and PC gaming. After the hack attack a few weeks back the Japanese electronics giant has struggled to re assure users their details have not been stolen. Now it would appear details of PSN users who entered a sweep stake contest have been posted on the Internet.

Again Sony have apologised they now face an uphill struggle to regain their position in the tough video games market against Nintendo and Microsoft.

The companies share price has dropped and they face further competition for mobile device gaming from Apple and Android platforms.

Let's hope it servers as a wake up call to other companies that offer online gaming and cloud computing.
