BOKURA: planet, the collaborative planetary puzzle adventure and sequel to viral hit BOKURA with more than 600,000 units sold, mixes collaboration with hidden intentions in today’s demo release on PC via Steam, ahead of the previously announced 1.0 launch on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
In a standalone story separate from launch content, bring a friend and hatch an escape plan as two convicted astronauts crash-land on an unknown planet. Solve bi-dimensonal puzzles via voice chat to navigate obstacles like locked doors, moving platforms, and more.
However, each crew member will receive a secret objective that could spell trouble for the other partner. Can the pair maintain enough trust to survive, or will their secret objectives hold them back?
A spaceship malfunction sends two criminally convicted cosmonauts careening toward an unfamiliar red planet. Grab a friend and work together to solve co-op-only puzzles in a separate, standalone story fully distinct from BOKURA: planet’s upcoming launch.
Though both explorers occupy the same space, reality manifests differently on each player’s screen. Communicate the intricacies of each player’s world via voice chat to successfully maneuver through each stage, where both realms affect each other in various ways.
Can a fellow felon be trusted? In a twist on BOKURA’s classic team-based puzzle solving, both players receive secret objectives unbeknownst to their partners, which must remain hidden at all costs. Communicate, coordinate, and even coax your opportunistic ally into helping further your agenda.
Cooperation and confrontation alike await at every obstacle. Navigate the added tension of hidden intentions with the new “push” action that can be used to interfere with the opponent's play… or to shove them off cliffs.
