The latest PlayStation 3 firmware v2.70 update is now available.It brings a new text chat feature to communicate online with your PSN buddies, now you can chat with up to FIFTEEN people and access text chat while playing games.
In addition to this, the following has been updated: friends list on the XMB (sort by online status, 3MB file size limit), video delivery: video files you've purchased from PlayStation store can be backed up to an external device and then restored on the PS3's hard drive for playback, and videos purchased for PSP can be transferred to PlayStation 3 for playback!
