In the not too distant future, climate change has destroyed the Earth and disaster created by man has killed everyone on earth. Only a few thousand "descendants of humanity" who was hand-picked to survive the apocalypse, cryogenically stored in underground bunkers called "arkar", has survived.

Centuries passed. World recovered and all arkar opened again, except for one - Ark-01.
