About Red Bull BC One:

The game takes the player to the international Red Bull BC One breakdance tournament that challenges B-boys and B-girls alike.

Players control their break dancer by solving puzzles under strict time limits. Puzzles consist of drawing geometrical shapes, which will get more complex as the game progresses. 

A steady hand and speed are required to set a high score that is worth bragging about. The game features fresh and stylish graphics with urban music as well as tense puzzle rounds alternating with a variety of minigames. Red Bull BC One is currently being developed for Nintendo DS by Smackdown.

Prototype:

As you already know, a prototype of this game is playable on the official Red Bull BC One website.



The game prototype allows players to look at the concept of the game and help the developing team by providing the ever important feedback. The player’s comments and suggestions will be used to improve the final version of the game.

Furthermore, the players that forward the best ideas or comments will even be credited in the final game.

Red Bull BC One for Nintendo DS will be published worldwide in early Summer 2008.

PC version

Play as the general manager of one of 65 official cycling teams, handling all aspects of a professional season. The management is more realistic than ever before, through new talent recruiting and stamina systems that give each rider a fitness plan for the forthcoming season, and a highly realistic progression curve.

To make the racing more realistic, Pro Cycling – Tour de France 2008 has an advanced and aggressive rider AI, highly detailed rider models and rich environments that include a variety of buildings and landscapes. There are 180 real-time, playable 3D races, with you managing the tactics, such as attacks and relays that will affect their outcome.

Impressive track racing events, such as cycle speedway, Keirin and elimination, are available for the first time in the series to challenge your team’s track racing skills. All of these features combine to make the 2008 edition the most comprehensive and exciting replication of professional cycling.



PSP version

The Sony PSP version of Pro Cycling – Tour de France 2008 has been specifically designed to make use of the console’s unique features with the highlight being the actual racing. Participate in the greatest international cycling competitions, such as the accurately recreated Tour de France 2008. Create your team from a selection of star cyclists and manage all aspects successfully to take them to the top. The 2008 edition also lets you challenge your friends in multiplayer mode, via LAN or the PSP’s WiFi features.

Developed by Newrosoft, ‘Dubbers Adventure’ takes you to the magical world of Dubberia. Explore the deeps of the forest, the trunk of a secular tree and the palace of a spider king. Fight creepy crawlers and evil minions. Find true friends and maybe some romance. Will they live to tell the tale?

‘DUBBERS ADVENTURE’ DS & Wii

The main character of the game is a Rubber-Dubber. The Dubbers are a peaceful tribe of small furry beings, descendents of the forest fairies that have grown without wings and so they live on the ground. They feed on tree bark and hunt the parasites that infest trees from their forest, so, in their society, along the way; some families of expert tree climbers have risen.

They are at the top of the society, the ruling class as they are the ones that bring food to their people. Our character is called "Rubb`e`Rang” of the Rang family, the one closest to the King of all Dubbers, Ruler of Dubberia.

Rubb has been trained all his life to become the best climber is the tribe, by both his father and, secretly by the forest fairies, as his best friend is a forest fairy he met one day as a young child training by himself. She is called "Petal". She is beautiful as most of the fairies are and she wears soft pale pink and yellow petals. She has multicoloured wings like a butterfly. Petal is also a high born child in the fairy society.

In his training Rubb has come to attain great climbing skills, and, as of game start, he can climb almost anything, reaching as high as a fairy can fly given something to support himself. He was given one day as a gift from the Queen of the Fairies, The Sorceress of the Leaf, a magical hand that can extend, so he can reach higher than any Dubber.

Overclocked trailer released - download now

Leading computer software publisher Lighthouse Interactive and dtp Entertainment today released a new trailer for their highly anticipated psychological thriller adventure game, Overclocked: A History of Violence. The trailer reveals more of the game’s plot and introduces the other characters, including the five young patients, found wandering the streets of New York City, distraught, scared and screaming.

Microsoft say they have no plans for a Blu-ray Xbox 360

Microsoft has no plans to release a Blu-ray add-on for the Xbox 360 and is instead backing digital delivery, the head of Xbox in the UK has said.

Microsoft stopped production of its HD-DVD player following the decision by Toshiba, the format's creator, to concede victory to rival Blu-ray.

Microsoft's Neil Thompson said physical media would give way to downloads in the next two to three years.
"We have always said online is the way to go," he said.

He denied that Microsoft had abandoned customers who had purchased the HD-DVD add-on for their Xbox 360 consoles.

"We said to people they had the choice; we didn't force it on them as we didn't put it in the box,"

he said.

Shift focus

He said Microsoft had always planned to shift its focus to digital distribution of content.

"Our belief was that in the lifetime of the Xbox 360 we were going to move to this online world and online distribution for content outside gaming.

"If we didn't believe that we would have put a hi-def player in the console.
