Spider-Man Character Pack arrives - LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Featuring Characters from Marvel's Captain America: Civil War

A new Super Hero will be available in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers – Spider-Man! The Spider-Man Character Pack will be available starting today as a complimentary download for all consumers who purchase the game.

This exciting new content will feature six fan-favourite web-slingers in full LEGO  form, including the character's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as seen in the recently released blockbuster, Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, and classic versions from select Marvel comics.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, the first console videogame to feature characters and storylines from Marvel’s The Avengers, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and more , will be available on 26th January 2016 in North America and 29th January 2016 in Europe, via participating retailers.

In addition, an exclusive UK retailer will be announced very soon, where consumers can pre-order their copy and receive an exclusive Silver Centurion Iron Man LEGO minifigure, which is one of the many suits that will be playable in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers.

Super Mario Maker New Screenshots - WiiU

Fans of the Super Mario World game for the Super NES fondly remember the key item, which, when grabbed, unlocks keyholes and grants access to new parts of the level.

With this new free update to Super Mario Maker, both the key and locked doors with keyholes will be added to the game. Accessed by shaking the P-Switch and Door items, respectively, the key and locked doors can be used together to create challenging new levels. The key can even be attached to enemies, forcing players to defeat an enemy to retrieve the key and move forward. With this, mandatory boss battles are born!

New Piranha Pit Map in Splatoon - Wii U

Nintendo has announced that Inklings can now swim their way around the new Piranha Pit map in Splatoon.

Wii U exclusive free content, which producer Hisashi Nogami is confirmed as due to end in January 2016. Nintendo has signalled that part of that support will come to an end next month, with the free content coming to a close in January 2016. There will still be bug fixes and balance changes as necessary, but the team will move on to other projects.
