Flight Control HD video game now on PlayStation 3 Multiplayer PlayStation Move Motion Controller Support, Stereoscopic 3D Mode and 1080p Graphics


Flight Control HD has touched down on Sony PlayStation Network in Europe, Asia and Australia. It is one of the first games to support the PlayStation Move motion controller and is an adaptation of the global hit that has sold over 3 million copies.

Gamers will select a team and square off to try and bring home The Ryder Cup for their squad in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 on all console platforms. The Ryder Cup is one of the last great sporting events to be founded in prestige rather than prize money. Choose from the U.S. or European squad and participate in the various competition formats – foursomes where players hit alternate shots, fourballs and singles which traditionally bring the biennial event to a close with players going head to head. When playing The Ryder Cup mode offline, gamers will have the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches.

DanceDanceRevolution: Get Ready to Move on PlayStation 3 Sony’s new motion-control system to revolutionise classic dancing series

DanceDanceRevolution (working title) for PlayStation 3, with the familiar gameplay extended to full-body movement via its use of Sony’s new PlayStation Move motion-controllers. Dance Dance Revolution maintains its use of the dance mat controller, as players match on-screen arrows with the corresponding foot actions on the mat, but takes the dancing elements to all new heights as players are charged with using their entire body to match additional screen markers during the course of a track. The combination of mat and PlayStation Move means that actions from both the upper and lower body are now registered, with areas of the screen indicating when they must be touched. This allows total freedom of movement on the player’s part, with the screen areas allowing users to adopt a comfortable dancing style.

PlayStation Move UK price reductions - before it's launched...

The Playstation move takes motion-sensing gaming to the next level. True 1:1, sub-millimeter tracking puts gamers into the virtual world of the PS3 and allows them to interact with the environment as if the objects were in their own living room. The controller uses the PlayStation Eye Camera in conjunction with the light emitting "orb" atop the controller to calculate your position in three-dimensional space. As the orb can change colour, multiple controllers can be tracked simultaneously.

PlayStation Move prices announced - Starter kit featuring motion controller and camera to cost around £50

October 19th will see the launch of PlayStation Move motion controller and camera the price has been announced for the starter kit. It's down to retailers what they charge, but the PlayStation Eye camera is expected to cost £25 with the sub-controller at the same price, the main motion controller is expected to cost £35 - considerably lower than Microsoft Kinect.

Screenshots and all new character renders from The Lord of the Rings: Aragorns Quest have been revealed worldwide. The screenshots feature brand new footage from the PS3 and Wii formats of the video game. Highlighting all new aspects of gameplay and revealing clues to the Middle-earth locations that will feature in the game.
