Museum of London free download London Map recreates the great fire of 1666

The Museum of London is working with Minecraft professionals to create Great Fire 1666, a series of three maps which will allow players to virtually experience the streets of 17th-century London, fight the Great Fire, and rebuild their own vision of the capital. The first map will be playable on PC and Mac from 29 July 2016.

Titled Great Fire 1666, the game will allow the museum to tell the story of the Great Fire like never before, as players can walk down the streets of London, interact with the very people of 1666, combat the flames, and rebuild their own vision of the capital. It will be playable on both PC and Mac from 29 July 2016.

Minecraft: Wii U Boxed Edition including Super Mario Mash-Up disc

Being able to buy the boxed version of the Minecraft: Wii U Edition game in stores at a suggested retail price of only $29.99 is great news.


Even better news? This retail version of the game comes with the same popular Minecraft add-on content packs included in the Nintendo eShop version of the game on the disc at no extra charge. This includes the recently released Super Mario Mash-Up Pack, which adds elements from the Super Mario series to the game.

Minecraft to get official release in Chine on Mobile and PC via NetEase

Soon Chinese Minecraft fans will be able to create and explore their very own worlds limited only by their imaginations.


Microsoft, Mojang and NetEase announced a five-year exclusive agreement to license Mojang's Minecraft mobile and PC editions to a NetEase, Inc. affiliate in mainland China. As part of the agreement, Mojang will develop a version of Minecraft tailored for the Chinese market and release it in partnership with NetEase.

15 top Minecraft hints and tips to get you started



1 Create temporary air pockets underwater using a torch - if you’re underwater and need place a Torch and the water will be displaced and you can grab a breath.

2 Build off the side of a torch - You can build off the side of placed torches saving the support block below and saving resources.

3 Break sand and gravel with a torch - to clear a stack of gravel or sand remove the bottom block and replace it with a torch. The remaining stack will collapse.

4 Hold up sand and gravel with a torch - Not only can a torch destroy sand and gravel it can also support them. Place a block of sand or gravel on top of a wall mounted torch and it will not fall.

5 Stack signs to make wooden building features - Stack signs in grid form to create some wooden details in your buildings.

Crown and Council is like a pixelated version other games like Risk or Civilization. It's 16-bit style of pixel art plus MIDI sound effects from the era of the Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis. However Crown and Council is a challenging strategy game.



Crown and Council revolves around the geopolitical drama of conquering kingdoms. You must build, expand, develop your kingdoms all while defending them and conquering your enemies.

Minecraft: Wii U Edition on December 17th - complete with multiple add-on packs


Minecraft launches worldwide on Nintendo’s Wii U home console on Dec. 17th.


Minecraft: Wii U Edition comes with multiple add-on content packs, and will be available in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U in North America for $29.99. Nintendo and Mojang are also collaborating on new content for Nintendo fans to be released at a future date. More details about this content will be released at a later time.

Minecraft coming to Wii U say PEGI - Update

Update - 16 November 2015 - PEGI has quietly removed its listing for the unannounced Minecraft: Wii U Edition.

The game is still expected but the launch has been delayed.

Minecraft: Story Mode now available in store - Second Episode Ready for Download - PC PS4 PS3 XO X360 Mac WiiU PSV


Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series is now available in stores across North America and will be available in Europe starting Friday October 30th. Also available starting this week, the highly-anticipated Episode Two: Assembly Required will be available for download on consoles, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
