Thoughts on Super Street Fighter IV - screenshots and video
With all of the 10 new Super Street Fighter IV exclusive characters having been announced and just over a month until the game's April 27th US release date, speculations over character potential and game balancing are in full swing. New Ultras and re-balancing should heavily affect the tier lists, but will the lack of arcade support for the title affect sales in areas such as Japan and the US, where there's a particularly strong arcade scene?

Can Epic Mickey move Disney's No.1 into video game Nirvana? Or will Mario Bros. reign supreme?
Next year we'll see if the upcoming Epic Mickey game can move Disney's greatest character over to the videogame medium, but no matter what he does, that mouse should definitely be taking notes from Mario. Official Super Street Fighter IV website launched!
The official announcement finally arrived from Capcom this morning, confirming the two characters shown yesterday - T. Hawk and Juri. From the looks of the website, there are going to be regular updates to release new information as time goes by. Also, it appears a 2010 release date for SSFIV is in place, and although there isn't any specifics on the main website, it has been said that Q1/Q2 (Spring) is most likely at this point.
Also, screenshots from Famitsu magazine have surfaced, containing returning character 'Dee Jay', which means that all of the predictions/rumours thus far have all been correct. Read on to see the main SSFIV site and screenshots of Dee Jay!

New Super Mario All-Stars enhanced coming to Nintendo Wii?
The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu reveals Super Mario Collection in a list of game trademarks.
Super Mario Collection (known as Super Mario All-Stars in Europe) was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993 and contained updated versions of four classic Mario games. Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels were all included on the cartridge with improved graphics and sound to take advantage of the SNES hardware.
The new trademark may suggest that this original compilation could arrive on the Virtual Console in the future. The NES versions of these games are already available for download on the Wii but the enhanced SNES compilation would certainly be of interest to many, particularly those who have never experienced any of these Mario games in any form (there must be someone!).
There are other possible outcomes of the trademark, however. It is possible that it could indicate a DSi release of some kind such as a download on the DSi store of the SNES Super Mario All-Stars or perhaps an all new collection containing Game Boy titles such as Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
Obviously, there are many possibilities as to what this trademark could imply. Feel free to speculate in the comments section below and stay tuned for more information on the Super Mario Collection trademark in the future.

New Super Mario Bros. video game on Nintendo Wii
Classic Mario Adventure that Everyone Can Enjoy – at the Same Time
Developers at Nintendo have dreamed of creating a simultaneous multiplayer Super Mario Bros. game for decades.
The Wii console finally makes that dream come true for everyonethis holiday season. Now players can navigate the side-scrolling worlds alone as before orinvite up to three others to join them at the same time on the same level at any point in thegame for competitive and cooperative multiplayer fun.
With the multiplayer mode, the newest installment of the most popular video game franchise is designed to bring yet another type of family entertainment into living rooms and engage groups of friends in fast-paced Super Mario Bros. fun.
FEATURES:
• New Super Mario Bros. Wii offers a combination of cooperation and competition. Players can pick each other up to save them from danger or toss them into it.
• Mario, Luigi and two Toads are all playable characters, while many others from the Mushroom Kingdom make appearances throughout the game. Players can even ride different Yoshi characters and use their
tongues to swallow enemies – or their fellow players.
• In some areas, players use the motion abilities of the Wii Remote™ controller. The first player to reach a seesaw might make it tilt to help his or her character reach a higher platform – and then tilt it incorrectly just to mess with other players.
• New items include the propeller suit, which will shoot players high into the sky with just a shake of the Wii Remote and Mario’s new ability to transform into Penguin Mario.
• At the end of each stage during the simultaneous multiplayer mode, players are ranked based on their score, the coins collected and the number of enemies defeated.
