Players helm a ship sailing the blue waters of a beautiful procedurally-generated world. Three separate skill trees allow gamers to upgrade and customize their vessels to specialize in offense, defense or support.
Gamers can focus on exciting naval combat against pirates, NPCs and other players in rival factions or opt for relaxing gameplay involving exploration, trading and diplomatic missions. Windward offers MMO or single player gameplay.
