Malaipet spent his early childhood on his family’s rice farm until the tragic death of his mother at age 5. The family was devastated and his father left Malaipet and his siblings behind to seek better-paying work in Bangkok. Left to look after his sister and grandmother, Malaipet started fighting for money in order to pay for his sisters’ schooling. Recognizing that his son could further contribute to the family’s income, his father sent Malaipet to a Muay Thai training camp. Malaipet was only six-years old.
When Malaipet reached adolescence, he was already a force to be reckoned with. After fighting more than 250 shin-splitting fights in Bangkok, he earned his first real win and captured the World Intercontinental Championship – launching him into international stardom.
But his training, dedication, sense of duty and honor may not be enough to capture victory in the cut-throat world of Supremacy MMA – where no one is safe – not even a Legend.
