On November 25th PlayStation 3 Owners Can Come Together to Engage in Virtual Experiences Linked to Some of the Biggest Video Games. KONAMI reveale their all-new rooftop penthouse suite in PlayStation Home, set to launch on Thursday, November 25th.
The decked out virtual space will connect fans to Konami through several features including special nods to iconic Konami franchises, commerce shops, custom cityscapes, dedicated ranking boards and twitter feeds, special mini-games and more. KONAMI also invites fans to an open house in the space throughout the holiday weekend, which includes a self-guided tour that familiarizes players with the all-new features and hotspots.
KONAMI's penthouse suite will introduce the highly anticipated DanceDanceRevolution mini-game where players can engage in Area Dance, Solo Dance-offs, and Group Dance-offs. Solo Dance-offs pit everyone on the dance floor against each other until there is a final dance master left on the dance floor. Group Dance-offs separate players into teams to compete as a group against other groups. Lastly, Area Dance players are tasked to execute specific moves in certain locations to earn points.
Points can also be earned via a variety of additional activities, and fans can view their KONAMI leaderboard ranking at any time through PlayStation Home or Facebook http://apps.facebook.com/konami_leaderboards/.
The space will also be the home of great events throughout the year to honor the company's game releases and give fans exclusive virtual content and downloads they can't access anywhere else. As players spend more time in the space, they will earn points to unlock additional content including special items from KONAMI's titles like METAL GEAR SOLID, Castlevania, Silent Hill and Pro Evolution Soccer.
