The Wall St Journal have quoted a source confirming that EA are producing games for the up coming Apple tablet. The tablet is due to be announced on 27th January 2010. This builds on the information that Apple are also in talks to bring magazine, books and newspapers to the iSlate. Disney and other television companies will provide content for the device. Apple are building the worlds largest data centre and it is expected they will host all the material, users will use the cloud to access this data.
This will allow Apple to have one file for each data item, say a song, and once a user buys that song they can access it from any of their devices freeing up their own HD space.
