LUXOR Adventures all new Egyptian puzzle game features all-new seek-and-find adventure, marble-shooter and match three levels

LUXOR Adventures screenshotLUXOR Adventures for the PC hidden-object adventure game follows a tale through time as players recover objects scattered through history. LUXOR Adventures is the fifth installment in the LUXOR franchise, made popular by the marble-shooter mechanic which received recognition as the “casual game of the year” when it launched. The game is available now at www.mumbojumbo.com and will retail for $19.99 at retailers and leading game portals beginning Nov. 19.

LUXOR Adventures follows the tale of the mythical Stairway to Heaven and two archaeologists who embark on a journey to unravel the evil doings of their one-time benefactor. The game features more than 80 levels, including both hidden object and marble-shooter levels. There are also a handful of match-three levels as well as more than a dozen different puzzle levels throughout the game.

“We’re expanding the breadth of the LUXOR brand by marrying the marble-shooter action our players have come to know and love with the increasingly popular hidden-object gameplay,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “We asked LUXOR fans worldwide if they would be interested in seeing a different side of LUXOR with a hidden-object adventure twist, and they responded with a resounding, ‘Yes!’”

In LUXOR Adventures, players must recover items hidden in scenes while collecting hints to advance to the next level of the story. The story of John Swift and Jane Graham pits them against the evil Seth Hisster, who is trying to use a mythical portal to further his own agenda. The treasure-hunting duo scramble to recover items Seth misplaces throughout his time travel to keep historical icons like Amelia Earhart, Benjamin Franklin and Leonardo da Vinci from discovering items from the future.

“The same high-level production values and polished game play that fans have come to expect from MumboJumbo is ever-present in LUXOR Adventures,” said Cottam. “We’re excited to introduce fans of our hidden-object games, like Samantha Swift and Midnight Mysteries, to our classic marble-shooter franchise, LUXOR. We think it’s a win-win for fans of both types of games.”

LUXOR Adventures is rated E for Everyone with a descriptor for Violent References.
