New IDW Comics app for Xbox One brings over 4,000 FREE books to Xbox One

Xbox One gamers can download FREE comics right now. New IDW Comics app brings  full IDW Comics catalog to your XBOne for the first week, you can download 10 volumes at no charge.

The comics are available as both standard and "motion books," and you can use the app to watch trailers right now, and behind-the-scenes videos at a later date.

The volumes available for download between now and April 7.

Brenda Romero game designer and artist will get Special Award on Thursday 6 April at the BAFTA British Academy Games Awards

BAFTA has announced today that award-winning game designer and artist Brenda Romero will be presented with the Special Award at the British Academy Games Awards on Thursday 6 April 2017, in recognition of her creative contribution to the industry.

BAFTA’s Special Award recognises an individual for their creative contribution to the industry, and will be presented to Brenda for her illustrious career in game design, her advocacy for the art and creative process behind game-making, and her commitment to encouraging the next generation of talent in the industry.

Final Great Fire of London 1666 Minecraft map released to download - Great Fire 1666: The Rebuild

The Museum of London has launched the final in a series of three Minecraft maps recreating the Great Fire of London, following the first and second maps which launched in July and September 2016.

Titled Great Fire 1666: The Rebuild, the third map will challenge players to help London rise from the ashes following its destruction in the second map and design their own version of the capital. They will be able to explore the ruined streets, before meeting King Charles II at the Guildhall to hear his decrees for a new vision of London.

Over the last few weeks, scammers have been trying to dupe users into believing that a software emulator exists for the Nintendo Switch, the company’s newest console that was released on March 3, 2017.

A search for “Nintendo Switch Emulator” on YouTube yields a variety of results, racking up tens of thousands of views (the most having over 76,000), while others have several hundred views. The content of the videos vary significantly. Some videos contain a step-by-step process showing how to visit a website, download a file, and play Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on a PC.
