The game takes place several centuries after Ocarina of Time, on a vast ocean known as the Great Sea, dotted with tiny islands. A legend, passed down among the islands, tells of an ancient kingdom that was attacked by a great evil called Ganon. Ganon was eventually defeated and sealed away by a boy wielding the Blade of Evil's Bane. Some time after the boy left the kingdom, Ganon re appeared and attacked once again, but neither the boy nor the Blade reappeared. The ultimate fate of the kingdom remains a mystery.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert series is returning with Season 2 to eight cities from last year's tour and is coming soon to even more locations in North America. Based on one of the most popular and beloved video game series of all time, the tour features live orchestral performances of theme music from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise.

This week, Link journeys through the Lanayru Desert where he must find his way through the puzzles in the Lanayru Mining Facility, sail across a sea of sand and discover new items to add to his collection.

New characters for Legend of Zelda: Skyward swords announced - Wii

Nintendo has revealed new details about the introductory storyline and game play in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which will launch exclusively for the Wii system on Nov. 20. The enhanced motion controls of the Wii Remote Plus (or Wii Remote controller with a Wii MotionPlus accessory) and Nunchuk controller allow for deeply immersive puzzle-solving challenges in this latest addition to the iconic Zelda franchise.
