88 Heroes - 98 Heroes Edition including all DLC on Nintendo Switch

Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure released on Nintendo Switch

Available as both a digital download and a physical cartridge at retail, The Complete Adventure includes all eight episodes from the first season of Minecraft: Story Mode: five episodes from the original season pass, plus the three bonus episodes from the 'Adventure Pass' add-on series. This collection also represents Telltale Games' first official release on Nintendo's latest console.

PayPal to become available on Nintendo Switch

PayPal to be adopted as payment method for Nintendo eShop in the UK and select countries around the world beginning August 22.



PayPal Pte. Ltd. (‘PayPal’) announced today that Nintendo eShop has added PayPal as a new payment method. Nintendo eShop users in select countries around the world will be able to use PayPal, in addition to other existing methods of payment, on the Web or on their game console.

Arms Update 2.1 Patch Notes



General

  • Moved Training to the top menu.
  • Added five exercises to Training and added difficulty level indications.
  • Adjusted the way the rush gauge fills, decreasing the amount gained for punches that do not connect with the opponent.
  • When 3-4 players start a battle, instructions on how to switch targets will now be displayed. A cursor will also be displayed above the current target for a set time.
  • Adjusted hitbox sizes for fighters, improving issues where hits were not registered despite looking like hits.
  • Changed the pause, results, and replay menus in Training to be more convenient.
  • For Best Stage in Stats, made it harder for less frequently played stages to be selected, even if you have a high win ration on them.
  • Corrected issue that caused the game to hang-up when the ending was skipped at a particular time.

Sonic Mania Competition Mode on PC Switch PS4 XOne

SEGA announce that Competition Mode will be an additional mode in its game, Sonic Mania. The reveal of Competition Mode comes hot off the heels of last week’s announcement of another mode in Sonic Mania, Time Attack.



Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are all playable characters in Sonic Mania’s Competition Mode. Winners are determined by a few factors: clear time, score, number of items acquired, number of rings acquired when clearing the level, and total number of rings acquired throughout the level.

Nintendo Switch sells 4.7 consoles in 4 months pushing Nintendo into profit again...

The Nintendo Switch, is off to a great start confirmed by new data released by Nintendo Japan.

4.7 million Switch consoles have been sold in 4 months. This makes it one of Nintendo's best selling consoles.



4.7 million Switch sales is still beaten by 5.84 million Wii sales sold during the Wii's first 4 months or 5.27 million DSs sold. However Switch sales are higher than Nintendo's last console the Wii U with just 3.45 million sales in the first 4 months.

Splatoon 2 New on Nintendo Switch

Greetings! We here at the Squid Research Lab have some fantastic news. According to the position of the sun and the level of the tides (and also the calendars on our desks), it looks like it’s time for the Splatoon 2 game to launch for the Nintendo Switch system. What an exciting day! Even more exciting, the new SplatNet 2 mobile service, which is a part of the Nintendo Switch Online app* for mobile devices, is also launching. SplatNet 2 lets you track things like stage schedules, gear and stats. This is great since many Squid Research Lab employees are taking their summer vacations soon and want to be able to check in on Splatoon 2 info at all times.


Recently, we aired a special Nintendo Direct presentation that was as fresh as it was informative. Tons of details about the modes, weapons and styles of Splatoon 2 were covered, so please watch it here to get a refresher before diving into the game. By watching the video, you’ll also be introduced to two new characters: Pearl and Marina.

After 5 years a WWE video game returns on Nintendo - WWE 2K18 Is Coming to Nintendo Switch



WWE 2K18 will release on Nintendo Switch this fall. This marks the first time in five years that a WWE game has been on a Nintendo platform. The Nintendo Switch version features docked play on television and offers the first portable edition of a WWE game in six years.


Like the other available versions of WWE 2K18, it includes a whole host of new features.

Get ready for eight man matches, a new grapple carry system, new weight detection, thousands of new animations and a massive backstage area. A brand-new rendering engine also gives WWE 2K18 a visual overhaul and will bring the drama of WWE to life like never before.

Splatoon 2 Details Revealed New Features, New Weapons and New Styles Launches July 21

With the Splatoon 2 game launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console in just a couple of weeks, Nintendo partnered with the renowned Squid Research Lab to provide a refresher on some of the new and returning features coming to the squid sequel. The special Nintendo Direct presentation highlighted many of the game’s new features, new weapons, new locations and, most importantly for all the fashion-forward cephalopods out there, its fresh new styles. The video also touched on SplatNet 2, the new service for mobile devices that displays information about Splatoon 2 like stage schedules, gear and stats. SplatNet 2 is part of the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app launching on July 21, which lets players send multiplayer invites to their friends via social media, as well as enables the use of voice chat in battles.

Nintendo Switch tops 1 million sales in Japan since March 3rd

Total sales of Switch hardware in Japan have surpassed one million as of June 25 with a total of 1,016,473 units sold since its March 3 launch.



The platform’s top five selling games in Japan, as of June 25 are as follows:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (04/28/17, Nintendo) – 501,614 units sold
  2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 460,480 units sold
  3. 1-2-Switch (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 200,807 units sold
  4. Arms (Nintendo, 06/16/17) – 154,845 units sold
  5. Super Bomberman R (Konami, 03/03/17) – 92,112 units sold
