Hidden Pass video game Kickstarter success means February 2025 release

Hidden Pass charts the course for launch on February 4th, 2025 with a demo out now Tactical RPG combat and a dynamic campaign in a strange, new techno-magical world await after Kickstarter success. After Kickstarter success, Hidden Pass, will be launching into Early Access across all major PC gaming storefronts on February 4th, 2025. In this squad tactics RPG, players lead an expedition into a contested and deadly archipelago of magical floating islands, battling monsters and mercenaries to control a seemingly limitless source of crystals that both fuel magical power and threaten to drive its users mad. Players can begin their journey into this strange new science-fantasy setting in the demo, live on Steam now. Hidden Pass recently received a fresh round of Kickstarter funding to ensure that the game launches in its ideal form, featuring an expanded and polished dynamic campaign. Peer into its world of techno-magical warfare and arcane floating islands in the new gameplay trailer... Hidden Pass is proudly inspired by strategic and tactical classics present and past, delivering a fresh blend of gameplay mechanics in an unfamiliar and dangerous new setting. Gravity can be your greatest ally or enemy as battles take place across multiple elevations and floating chunks of land. Flying units can traverse these heights, but may leave themselves vulnerable to attack from literally any direction. While the majority of a player's time will be spent in these tactical encounters, the strategic map is where all your plans come together. Managing an upgradable mobile fortress, research new technologies, harvest resources and assemble a motley crew of sky-faring adventurers and automatons to deploy in battle via carrier airships. The more, the merrier, as damaged or fallen units can be replaced mid-battle by reinforcements waiting on the strategic map. Key Features: Verticality and Violence: Fight on fronts above and below. Flying soldiers and monsters create complex new problems (and solutions) as you carve out your battle-plan across the floating islands. Magic and Madness: Elyrium crystals are the reason for this conflict, and their influence can be felt even in turn-based combat. Magic is powerful, but comes with a cost and a risk. Units only grow more powerful as they tap into this mystical source, but run the risk of losing their minds. Allies and Attrition: Keep your grip on the front of battle through swapping out units or calling in reinforcements mid-mission. So long as you've still got soldiers fit to fight in the region, surrender is not an option. Might and Machinery: Flesh and blood will only serve you so far. Research and manufacture powerful Elyrium-fueled automatons with their own tactical specialties, then deploy them on the front lines. Strongholds and Strategy: Upgrade your flying tower-fortress with new facilities, allowing you to recruit stronger soldiers, build deadlier automatons, and claim valuable resources as you move your base between contested zones..
