Lurch - adventure horror game blending mystery and survival elements in a forgotten dystopian world

Lurch adventure horror game blending mystery and survival elements in a forgotten dystopian world. As darkness falls in the heart of the cursed Dreadwood Forest, players are challenged to survive being trapped in a ghostly forgotten house... Will they manage to escape? Four friends made the mistake of entering that house and now they must deal with a living nightmare. Playing in multiplayer mode, you and your friends need to complete a series of tasks within the haunted house to unlock your escape route and ultimately finish the game. Only by working together and strategizing precisely can you outsmart the demon and survive the night. Using in-game communication systems you can share with others valuable information that may save your lives. Lurch is a multiplayer horror game to play with your friends! Select one of the characters to play as and learn to play your role effectively to beat the game. As a team of ideally 2-4 players, you must complete the tasks by solving puzzles and fixing broken items around the house. Remember you will not be alone in the house, even if you choose to play single player. Do not make too much noise. It will come after you. If you happen to be on the run, there will be hiding spots if you are quick enough. Single player is only recommended for the fearless. This is no ordinary house as there is something of unhuman presence within. Something has been described to lurch around. Features Unpredictable AI Ultra Realistic Graphics Difficulty Modes Replayability Multiplayer up to 4 players Skill Tree WARNING! This game contains flashing lights. loud noises, and lots of jump scares! History After searching the internet endlessly for a new, electrifying horror experience, my partner and I were amazed by the lack of options. We were after something new, even if it were short-lived. Disappointment led us to game development with the hope of ultimately creating our own horror game. Despite taking on this, admittedly difficult pursuit during highschool, our passion extended after graduation where we first started working on 'Lurch'. After exploring the vastness of Unreal Engine 5, and encountering endless, seemingly unexplainble bugs, we now share appreciation for the few horror experiences which do exist. Here we are, two and a half years later with a somewhat presentable version of Lurch, excited to share our indie creation with the public as well as a similar thrill to the one we've had creating it.
