Rage in Peace is a story-driven, side scrolling action game with elements of surprise and memorization. Play and watch how things unravel in the last day of Timmy's life, as he races against time to get back home and fulfill his sole dream before the day is over.
Timmy Malinu, an emotionally numb, 20-something actuary, has only one dream that sets him apart from most: to die asleep in his pajamas, in the warmth of home, in peace, and with no drama. Today, his extraordinarily ordinary life is about to turn the extreme opposite when a Grim Reaper appears out of nowhere, bearing news that Timmy will die today. With his head cut off.
It All Started from an Idea
The inspiration to make the game with this theme came from the work of Paulo Coelho titled Like the Flowing River. In the book, Paulo stated that a fortunate person is someone who dies in her pajamas, because that means she died while she was asleep, or when she was sick and surrounded by her family.
Born in a Game Jam
Rage in Peace was first developed in November 2014 at an event titled Indies VS PewDiePie, held by Game Jolt. The theme: "fun to play, fun to watch" games. The top ten games will be played by the #1 Youtuber in his channel.
Rage in Peace was lucky because PewDiePie also played other submitted game that aren't in the top 10, including Rage in Peace, which ended at No17 out of around 800 submissions. PewDiePie's video attracted other YouTubers to also play Rage In Peace.
