Glasgow Science Centre’s (GSC) gaming exhibition is even bigger! Since GamesMania launched visitors have been feeding back that gaming sessions go by faster than Sonic the Hedgehog running round a loop, so GSC has more than doubled session time for the same entry price!
Instead of 90 minutes to explore the last four decades of gaming on 150 consoles, computers and arcade machines, gamers will now have more than three hours within the exhibition. Gamers can play classics such as Asteroids, Pac Man and Space Invaders, favourites like Donkey Kong, Sonic and Super Mario Bros to Minecraft, and the latest titles using cutting edge VR technology!
As well as playing the hundreds of games on offer, visitors to GamesMania will also be able to use rare and obsolete systems, try BASIC programming and find out about the history of the machines and game developers. The 150 featured consoles expand the past four decades of gaming with classic and bar top arcade machines, SEGA Megadrive and Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and Wii, Commodore 64, XBOX, PSVR, Atari and more.
Tickets to GamesMania can be bought online at glasgowsciencecentre.org
Daytime entry to GamesMania is £8 for an adult and £6 per child. Visitors can also add a visit to the Science Mall for a discounted price.
·Day time sessions are 1030-1400 and 1415-1730
