In addition to sound files for 100 Gen 2 Pokemon, the update appeared to point towards a big Christmas event.
The long rumoured Christmas event will seemingly coincide with the launch of new festive items and costumes.
Niantic will reportedly make it possible to customise characters with hair, shirts, pants, hats, shoes and more items. These items will reportedly be unlocked by playing the game and by spending cash.
