Due to some minor production issues with the set (the tower kept collapsing on the Production Assistants, but the studio finally provided enough duct tape to keep it relatively stable), the film* was briefly put on hold.
But that's all in the past! We're back in it baby, and ready to give you another glimpse at the stupendous, tremendous, wondrous science fiction odyssey that is...The Deadly Tower of Monsters!
Bunch of updates:
- The Deadly Tower of Monsters will launch on Jan. 19, 2016!
- The game will be $14.99 on both Steam and PSN!
- New screenshots and trailers! (Scarlet's design changed!) in this post
Today, we'd like to introduce the unsung heroes of the production, the people that made this possible. We are of course referring to the actors!
The life of a star can be very difficult. Waking up early in the morning for makeup, memorising lines, watching stuntmen do the dangerous scenes, dealing with adoring fans, and traveling to exotic locales to film is a hard life for anyone, let alone Hollywood B-listers, so we'd like to recognise their brave accomplishments:
Starring Jonathan Digby as Dick Starspeed
Actor Jonathan Digby is going to have a breakout performance with The Deadly Tower of Monsters. He plays the charismatic leader Dick Starspeed, the leader of our trio of intrepid space adventurers. Dick crash-lands his spaceship onto Gravoria, and must use his strength, intellgence, and experience as a spaceman to keep his crew alive. He'll utilise his atomic dash and land mines when facing Lizard-Men, Robot Apes, and other dastardly monsters.
Starring Stacy Sharp as Scarlet Nova
The beautiful and talented Stacy Sharp takes on the role of the no-nonsense Scarlet Nova. She is the daughter of the evil emperor, and saves Dick from certain peril early in the game. From there, she uses such powers as the Scarlet Sprint and Energy Barrier to help the team ascend the tower. Dick likes to think he is the leader, but it sure seems like Scarlet knows what she's doing.
Starring The Robot as Robot
Last but not least, Robot is played by the talented... actually I forgot the actor's name because we usually just called him The Robot. Anyway, Robot is Dick's loyal sidekick, but gets separated from him during their crash-landing. Once he's found, Robot can use its futuristic Time Warp and Chain Lightning to help even the odds.
*By film we mean PC and PS4 game developed by ACE Team.
