After three seasons the TV series Defiance has been cancelled however the free-to-play MMO game will go on.
Defiance game went free to play in January just as the second series of the TV show went to air.
The Transmedia project has been considered a successful one, with intertwining storylines and fan input dictating much of the series' progression. Trion says the season finale was a "fond farewell".
