Japan console sales drop again in 2014 - Top 10 Japanese games in 2014 and Top 6 Japanese console sales 2014

Console sales in Japan have dropped to there lowest since 1991 and it was down 10% last year. With console revenue the lowest in 20 years, below is a Famitsu graph showing the problem.



Software sales are holding up better, but not by much,with the top 5 games selling over 2 million copies a first for 8 years. Were they on P$ or Xbox One or Wii U? No all were 3DS titles with the handheld console hosting eight of the top ten games in 2014 (the other two were on Wii U).


The last game in the top 10 - Yokai Watch 2: Shin Uchi was only on sale for 16 days.
