PS4 3D virtual reality headset takes on Oculus Rift

Sony's new virtual reality headset takes on Oculus Rift, the headset called Project Morpheus features a display with a 1080p HD resolution and a field of view of 90 degrees. It also features an accelerometer, PlayStation camera and gyroscope built in.
The unit also contains new 3D audio with steroscopic 3D sound.

The Kickstarter funded Oculus Rift headset raised over $2m from crowdfunding and features twin screen with projected images while tracking the users movements.

It remains to be seen what developers will designer theiir games to be used with each new product.

Epic Games, makers of Gears of War and Unreal have already shown interest in the Oculus Rift headset.
