GUARDIAN CROSS pits monsters against players who take on the role of “Guardians” that capture, raise and control over 120 beasts. The game’s coliseum system allows players to challenge their captured beasts against others around the world.
Hiroyuki Ito, the creator of the FINAL FATASY ATB system, is the lead concept planner for GUARDIAN CROSS. Composer Naoshi Mizuta and character designer Akira Oguro round out the all-star development team.
The initial release of GUARDIAN CROSS for Android will contain all of the content from the original version of the game first released in September 2012, as well as many of the new features and much of the polish added since then. Further content, such as new Guardians, hunting grounds, and quests, will continue to be added through frequent updates. There will also be some Guardian cards boasting all-new and unique artwork, created specifically for the Android version.
The game’s user interface (UI) will be the same as the most current iOS version, ensuring that from the moment they pick up their tamer rifles and head for the hunting grounds of Northern Cross, Android users will enjoy intuitive and easy-to-use controls that are the result of nearly a year of improvement and fine-tuning.
