Batman: Arkham City Lockdown and Scribblenauts Remix now available for Kindle Fire devices exclusively in the Amazon Appstore for Android

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces two of its biggest mobile games, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown and Scribblenauts Remix, are coming to Android, exclusively in the Amazon Appstore for Android. Expanded to and completely optimized for the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD offers gamers with new ways to connect to their favorite franchises.

Based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and developed by NetherRealm Studios in conjunction with High Voltage Software, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown brings the Batman: Arkham City franchise to Android tablets with stunning graphics and intense combat gameplay. In Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, the inmates have escaped and Batman must defeat an army of henchmen and some of his most iconic foes. Players will scour rooftops and the seedy underbelly of Gotham City through a series of one-on-one battles with The Joker, Two-Face, Deathstroke and more.

Scribblenauts Remix, created by 5TH Cell and developed by Iron Galaxy, lets players use their imagination to write any word, modify it with adjectives and bring that object to life to solve challenging puzzles. It includes the innovative wordplay Scribblenauts fans have come to expect, plus new features, completely original levels and a combination of the most popular puzzles from Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts. The franchise has won more than 50 industry awards and sold more than six million units to date – making it one of the most successful handheld video game franchises.

Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is available today through the Amazon Appstore for Android. Scribblenauts Remix will be available in the Amazon Appstore for Android from 7th April, 2013.

Batman: Arkham City Lockdown and Scribblenauts Remix will expand to other select Android-supported devices, including Samsung Galaxy tablets and Google’s Nexus 7, later this spring. At that time, players will also be able to purchase the apps though Google Play, Google’s app store for Android devices.
