Edge of Space game screenshots - PC

Check out the brand new Edge of Space additions beta players are experiencing this month including:
Updated Visuals – Edge of Space has seen a major visual overhaul, with improved texture blending, new glass tiles, and double the resolution of tiles.

The survival-adventure game set in a dynamic open-world sandbox where players must build, create, mold, and work to survive in the deepest, darkest, weirdest and possibly most interesting part of the known universe. HandyMan Studios is working hard to deliver all sorts of new content, growing this game bigger and better as it gears up for the official launch later this Spring.

Gun Generation – New gun types are now available, including rocket launchers, rifles, shotguns, carbines and machine guns. A new random element is in effect where by players can utilize a weapon schematic to craft a firearm that executes a variety of effects – such as remote-controlled projectiles, auto-tracking bullets, thermal blast damage ammo, toxic blast damage, and more. Further patches will allow players even greater control of their self-constructed weapons, arming them to take on the dangerous extraterrestrial planets of the galaxy.

Chests – Any play time with Edge of Space will quickly fill up a player’s digital knapsack. With the recent additions of storage chests, players can easily craft a nice storage locker to keep all of their necessary equipment and crafting items without lugging them around.

Holopets – Holopets function as neat little space-faring familiars for enterprising ArkCoNauts. Reared from found eggs, players can collect a trio of pets named Crayjay, Dicedrone, and Icefloater, with many more coming soon. These guys are perfect for making player’s trips a little less lonely. In the future, these Holopets, along with others, will be able to assist players by collecting items or buffing an ArkCoNaut. Be prepared to soon see favorite Holopets morph into something much more formidable.

These new features have rapidly changed the way players can explore and transform the planets they discover. Edge of Space is an open-world, dynamically-generated sandbox game set in an area of deep space where humans have never wanted or were ever meant to travel. The entire game was built from the ground-up with multiplayer in mind, and the reactive environments ensure that all activities (crafting, building, setting traps, healing, etc.) are fast-paced and intense.

In addition, HandyMan is sharing a few of the moody tunes players will listen to as they venture forth across the universe . Born from the mind of composer Jens Kiilstofte, the music of Edge of Space will take players to dark and foreboding places.
