Scottish educational specialists Interface3 today announced the development of Smash Party for iOS and Android, set to be released in late July.
A co-operative four-player learning game for kids aged 5 and up, Smash Party is based on the 'loop cards' used in classrooms to encourage learning as a group. Children take turns to read out questions related to Maths and English and must work out the answer, and determine whether or not they have the answer in their area of the game screen in order to progress. With every victory comes added challenge, making things trickier but even more rewarding for everybody involved!
Smash Party is designed to encourage co-operative and collaborative play by making children communicate with one another in order to progress, while individually stimulating each child's mind through maths and literacy questions of increasing difficulty. Loosely based on previous release I Have, Who Has, it boasts a slick, colourful user interface and four different topics for children to test themselves against together.
Smash Party is set for release on iOS and Android in late July. SMART Table and Microsoft Surface versions are also in development.
