The popular iOS game from Image & Form, Anthill: Tactical Trail Defense, has today received a new update including added content and enhancements to further polish and extend the game to its mounds of active players from around the world.
Version 3.0 of this highly-praised iOS strategy game is now available in the App Store, free to anyone who has purchased a previous version. Complementing the update is a lite version that is free to try and features a brand new campaign not available in the full game.
This new version reflects the games’ updated name, now simply titled Anthill. Additions to Anthill v3.0 include new enemies, new food resources and the introduction of new enemy anthills which spew out ants at an alarming rate. Alongside the well-received ‘Infinity Mode’ introduced in the previous update, players are being rewarded with a more robust game and experience.
Featuring magnificent, colourful visuals spread across multiple campaigns, Anthill sees players taking fingertip control of an army of ants, defending their anthills from waves of incoming predators. With a variety of army units at their disposal, players must juggle time and resources, draw pheromone patrol routes with their fingers across numerous diverse levels. Fallen hostiles can be gathered for food, allowing construction of even vaster six-legged armies.
Anthill v3.0 is available in the App Store now, free to existing users and priced $0.99 to new users for a limited time. The game is a Universal App – buy once, play on all iOS devices.
