Natalya Netselya, Sand Artist
Natalya Netselya, the sand artist, has been involved in art since her childhood. In addition to her general education, she attended a Children’s Art School whilst growing up, and took part in many national art competitions. Natalya went on to study at one of the best art schools, the Glebov College of Belarusian Academy of Arts. During college, Natalya was one of four students chosen for a coveted arts internship in Italy. Currently, Natalya is studying at Belarusian State Technical University.
Natalya performed sand art for the first time as part of a beauty pageant at her university in 2007. Natalya now leads an active life as an artist, working in a variety of different design fields. Natalya took part in the international military-industrial exhibition Milex 2009 as a designer of the Automated Work Place.
Natalya was a finalist in the Germany’s Got Talent (Das Supertalent) contest in 2010. Natalya received a diploma from the Belarusian Architects Unity during the national architecture festival in Minsk 2009, for devotion to architecture and creative achievements. In 2008, she was awarded a diploma from the Belarus Minister of Defense for participation in the Contest for the Best Literature and Art Work devoted to the 90th Anniversary of Military Forces of Belarus.
Natalya has provided visual accompaniment to the Horoscope news section on the Belarusian TV channel ONT since October 2009.
Other notable achievements include an appearance at the White Square International Advertisement Festival in 2008, and performing for the Itshak Rabin memorial evening at the Israel Embassy in Belarus in 2009, amongst many others.
