Nintendo's new handheld, was in first place sales-wise last week with 31,826 units sold. But the 3DS has dropped behind the PSP, PS3 and Wii with sales of 16,415.
The drop in sales could be due to customers holding off on purchasing the device until the price cut comes into effect later this month in Japan.
The Nintendo 3DS is still comfortably ahead of the PSP Go, which has sold just 7 this week in Japan.
And the PlayStation Vita won't be launched until 2012 in the U.S. and Europe.
