Fruit Ninja is the highly addictive gaming craze that lets players master their ninja-chopping skills by slashing and splattering fruit. Players slice simply by swiping the touch-screen with one or more fingers, with Classic, Zen and Arcade being the three different game modes to choose from.
Fruit Ninja Free also includes all Dojo content, featuring blades and backgrounds which can be unlocked by completing various objectives within the game. Players who sign up for an OpenFeint account can also access global leaderboards and Facebook/Twitter posting for high scores.
Fruit Ninja was recently nominated for a 2011 Webby Award in the Handheld Games category, and has become an international phenomenon with more than 35 million downloads worldwide. The console version of the title, Fruit Ninja Kinect, is set to release later this summer on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system as part of Microsoft's fan favorite Summer of Arcade promotion, and available via download from Xbox LIVE Arcade.
