Sony warn PSN users their personal details may have been stolen in hack attack...

After days of NO PlayStation Network for gamers, Sony have admitted that user information may have been stolen by hackers who attacked the network last week. If this proves to be the case millions of gamers credit card details, addresses, passwords and other information may now be in the hands of thieves.
This is another blow to the their 75 million PSN users worldwide (3m in UK). Sony have sent an email to all PSN users and asked gamers to check their bank statements!

As of noe PSN is still down and the electronics giant have given no date when it will be back working.

Information that could have been taken by hacker...
  • Name
  • Address (city, state/province, zip or postal code)
  • Country
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth
  • PlayStation Network/Qriocity passwords and login
  • Handle/PSN online ID
