Angry Birds to add online and social media (Facebook) versions

Rovio announced at Barcelona today they intend to bring their addictive video game Angry Birds to Facebook and to include a online version.

With Farmville and Mafia Wars showing the way to millions of Facebook gamers Angry Birds hope to add to their 75 million downloads, so far.

Rovio don't have a Windows Phone 7 version and they are waiting to see how successful the platform will become before they release a version of the game on the Windows Phone 7 platform. The do plan a 3D version of Angry Birds for Nintendo's new 3DS hand held console.
