A UK consumer magazine 'Which?' has reported that video game can lose up to 60% of their purchase price when traded in just three days later, in 'mint' condition.
They found that retailers Tesco and ASDA offered Call of Duty: Black Ops on sale at £44.99 ($70) yet paid only £16.70 ($26) cash or between £22 ($34) and £36 ($55) in store credit just three days later, when the game was offered as a trade-in in 'brand new' condition.
Blockbuster were selling Red Dead Redemption for £29.95 ($46) but offered just £6 ($9) store credit trade-in for the game. Yet they sold the game for £22.99 ($35) pre-owned
