Angry Birds to introduce new payment (piggy bank) system in 2011 Facebook Angry Birds and Valentines' update

Rovio, Angry Birds developers are said to be looking at introducing a new payment system from next year. This would allow users to buy upgrades, levels and items with the touch of a screen.

Add the console editions release and 2011 lookslike it will be a busy years for both developers and games who follow Angry Birds.

Bad piggy bank will take the charges through the phone carrier with Finnish network Elisa joining first.

The free Android versionof the game was being financed through advertising and Rovio claimed they were making $1m a month using this option.

Rovio plan a Facebook version of the game (with paid content) and they confirmed the next season update will be in February 2011 with a Valentine theme (hearts and chocs?).
