There are 3 main reasons why they took this approach:
- The expansion’s total content is large enough to be released in 3 episodes, each of which represents a single expansion.
- They know that players are looking forward to the expansion and they want to add new content as quickly as possible.
- They wanted to test a new way of releasing a major expansion in separate episodes. This approach will also allow them to tailor the content of future episodes based on feedback they get from the community.
