Soon, say Netflix, PS3 owners can throw away those discs for good as a new PlayStation 3 interface is launched, it will allow dynamic updates and other Netflix UI improvements.
Up until now PS3 owner were required to insert a Blu-ray disc to use the service. Obviously the Hulu competition has Netflix worried and they may be losing customers to the new Hulu and Hulu Plus service.
Netflix have recently launched their platform on both the Nintendo Wii and Apple iPad, they declined to give user figures.
