Dinglepharb Studios, a studio developing social and mobile games with a twist, announced today that it has partnered with Heyzap to bring its upcoming Facebook game Woldtown to the rest of the Internet.

Launching in Spring 2010, Woldtown is a colorful and friendly free-to-play social game that everyone can enjoy.

Heyzap will enable people worldwide to experience Woldtown outside of Facebook and tap into massive unleveraged user bases that live outside of Facebook.com. Utilizing the most advanced viral loops available including stream posting, friend inviting, user gifting, tweeting, email imports and many more, Heyzap takes social games outside of Facebook and lets the viral mechanisms and monetisation travel with the game where ever it is on the web.

“Heyzap’s focus has always been to partner with companies and games that reflect our goal of sharing quality, original titles with as many people as possible, and Dinglepharb’s Woldtown is a great example,” said Immad Akhund, co-founder of Heyzap. “Its 3D world, fun mini-games, deep virtual currency system and family-friendly setting make it a perfect fit for our extensive network of sites.”

Heyzap is the definitive solution to allow publishers and developers of Facebook applications to bring their games to the millions of other sites across the web. This functionality utilizes Heyzap’s powered Facebook Connect, meaning that all of the social game companies Heyzap partners with will not have to make any changes to their game. In addition, users can log in to any of the 175,000 sites in the Heyzap network and play the game exactly as if they were on Facebook, with the same statistics, virtual goods and social connections they’ve already established.

“With such an innovative and fun-to-play game as Woldtown, we definitely had the millions of Facebook users across the world in mind, as the vibrant colors and fully 3D world is unlike anything the platform has ever seen,” said Nathan Agulto, CEO of Dinglepharb Studios. “But we didn’t want to limit our users to only those with Facebook accounts, and Heyzap’s one-of-a-kind technology and incredible industry partnerships will allow us to showcase Woldtown to an amount of people and sites that simply wouldn’t be possible on our own.”

Based on the popular Chinese social game VVDragon, Woldtown is a vast virtual world ready for players to explore! Hailing from the beautiful planet Kream at the opposite end of the universe, the Wolds are a race of miniature, magical dragons that can fly, morph into all kinds of different objects, and love to throw pies at each other! Play as one of 24 Wold avatars, earning WoldCash through a series of jobs and quests, explore over 100 distinct locations and play spectacular mini-games. Play online with your Facebook friends, but watch out for flying pies! Use WoldCash to upgrade your pies, throwing abilities, and even buy shields to protect you from your friend’s pies!
