It has been reported that the highly acclaimed Heavy Rain video game can randomly freeze this can lead to a corrupt save file.Sony are aware of the issue and advise users NOT to switch their PS3 off while the game is in 'black screen'. They say the black screen is not a crash and may indicate the save is taken longer than normal. They ask users to wait for five minutes before the re-boot the console.
Some user are reporting they have to restart the game every 15 minutes.
