The highly-anticipated open-world sandbox game, The Saboteur, which also launched on consoles and PC from Electronic Arts, is now available for download on all major mobile carriers and app stores in the U.S. and worldwide through distribution with I-play. From Hands-On Mobile, Inc., a premier publisher and developer of connected games and applications, the game is inspired by the true story of Sean Devlin, a street-tough Irish race car driver with a heart of gold and fists of steel. Parallel characters and story lines tie the mobile game in to the console version creating a complementary experience on multiple platforms.
"We've worked closely with EA on the mobile version of The Saboteur to create tie-ins to the console game including easter eggs," said Lynn Monica, VP & GM of Mobile Games, Hands-On Mobile. "Players accomplish specific tasks in the mobile game to uncover valuable gameplay tips, which can be used to give players an upper hand in the console and PC versions."
The Saboteur is a dark tale of revenge set in the seedy underground of 1940's occupied France. Trapped behind enemy lines, Sean sets out on a path of vengeance against the Nazis who destroyed everything he cared about. With the help of the French Resistance, the British intelligence, an arsenal of weaponry, street smarts and brawn, players will exact revenge on those who aim to destroy Sean's life. This action hero uses a combination of explosions, stealth, hand-to-hand combat, and firearms to get the job done.
Key Features:
• Hand-to-Hand Combat System: Allows players to effectively fight two or three Nazis at the same time with intuitive controls.
• Line of Sight: Peak around corners to reveal enemies that are unseen until they are in your line of sight, without being detected by them. Then, sneak up behind enemies for silent kills.
• Enhanced Stealth Mode: The heart meter tells if an enemy is nearby before the main character sees him. Then the footstep system briefly shows where an enemy went after he leaves the line of sight.
