Award winning video game 'Bloodline Champions' getting close to beta phase
The highly anticipated beta for Bloodline Champions is set to start on the 25th of January and the beta sign up is now open on the website.
Bloodline Champions is a PVP game with short, intense matches for up to ten players divided into two teams. Chance is not a factor, spells and abilities do a set amount of damage. Random elements such as critical hits and passive abilities do not exist. Every spell is aimed and can be avoided by enemy players, making every ability dependent on individual player skill. Without mana and creeps, the game has almost zero downtime and is instead based on short cooldowns, this coupled with the absence of elements such as grind and farming ensures that every match is full of action.
During Dreamhack Winter 2009, the largest digital festival in the world, the developers held a pre-beta test and a highly appreciated world-first tournament in Bloodline Champions. All visitors were allowed to download and play a limited version of the game which was playable only during Dreamhack.
Players can now register for the real beta and the selection of beta testers will be made based on their physical location and hardware specifications. Initially beta servers will only be hosted in Europe. The Developers also have the intention to host beta servers in the US later in the beta. Selected players will receive an invitation by e-mail along with details on how to proceed from there to take part in the beta testing of Bloodline Champions.
