Avanquest Software Publishing, one of the UK's leading consumer software and games publishers, is pleased to confirm that its popular brain training title for kids has this week taken the number one spot on GfK Chart-Track’s Top 40 Nintendo DS (Budget) software charts. Junior Brain Trainer DS has been in the top ten for a full twelve months since its launch in November 2008.
Junior Brain Trainer DS is a stimulating, fun game that helps children improve a range of important skills and includes a wide variety of fun puzzles and quizzes set in colourful environments to promote learning and education in an entertaining way. Created specifically for 6-11 year olds, it gives young minds a fitness workout to help develop important key skills in reading, writing, spelling, maths, geometry, logic and problem solving. Adopting a fun approach, it delivers information in smaller chunks and within structured gameplay to make information easier to absorb.
Simon Reynolds, European Games Director of Avanquest Software commented, “Having been in the top ten all year, we are pleased to see Junior Brain Trainer DS reach the number one spot on GfK’s Chart-Track. This position is not only testimony to the quality and enjoyment of the game, but also a just reward for Avanquest’s continued commitment to demonstrate exceptional retail success for our partners. We aim to put our customer’s and licensor’s needs first, to offer casual games that are guaranteed to satisfy consumer demand and continue selling well beyond launch.”
Avanquest Software recently announced two new contract wins with casual games developers GameMill and Gogii Games as well as the re-signing of existing licensors iWin and MumboJumbo. Following the recent chart successes of Jewel Quest Mysteries and Mystery Stories, both debuting at number one on Chart-Track, the additional titles have bolstered Avanquest’s already extensive Click and Play casual games portfolio and extend its reputation for bringing top quality products to market.
